Concet Statement (Dark Comic)

here is a basic design for the website that i am playing with the idea of. This design may well change a lot and be restructured. i am still trying to work out if it is a good idea to have a back ground behind the comic segments or if this will distract from the actual comic itself. I may choose to go with a full screen style comic and not have a background at all and only have play narrator on off and skip chapter navigation buttons at the bottom. i will also include a set of numbers at the bottom of the chapters and a link to the home page where you can select which comic it is that you wish to read. here is a screen shot of one of the ideas i am playing with.

This is a new project/venture that I am embarking on and it revolves around a dark comic/graphic novel, that I will create as part of this project. This is not the only element or part of this project. This project involves a lot more than just that. The full scope of this project will be created across 3 different programs and creative technologies. The concept is to create an array of Character's and comic book to go with it,  there will be 1 main character that all the stories will evolve around. This comic book will be my first and encumbered within this project I will achieve an online version. This online version will be animated to a degree, only in such a way that it still remains a comic book and will eventually be the first real full on E comic. The animation needs to be described a little further so here we go: If you can imagine a comic book page that is broken in to different segments fragmented and unordered all of different shapes and sizes (please view the example below).

My online E Comic will display all of these segments in turn 1 by one. They will be animated as they enter or appear on the users screen. Some will fade in from the background, some will slide in across the page, some will appear to drop in from outside of the users with a thud and a shake of the screen, as if you have just dropped a magazine on top of another from above. please see the flash example below.


The whole E Comic book will be in time and in sync with music, sound effects and optional narration of the comic. Sound effects will also be present when a new segment of the comic appears on the screen. The user will be in control of when a new segment appears and the story progresses, by either clicking their left mouse button or by setting the whole story on a timer to automatically flow through with an option of pausing the flow with a pause button present. This whole idea is copyrighted to Mr Joe Orrow 29 years old. Any plagiarism of my idea will not be tolerated. The whole Concept of this E Comic Book as described above is copyrighted. the whole concept of my story and my original characters are copyrighted too. inspirations of dark comic

I cant get enough of Dark movies/Horror movies and comics. here is a taste of my inspiration for my own original dark comic book creations. This will be available, online and will be my first comic book / Graphic novel.
